Aloe Harvesting And Production

Before aloe gel and juice can hit store shelves, it has to be properly harvested and undergo a highly-sanitized production process.

Aloe farms can be found throughout the world. Africa, Australia, Asia, Central America, South America and the Caribbean are all popular locations for growing aloe for commercial use. Perhaps because aloe has been recognized as big business by many, farms in other countries are cropping up. The International Aloe Science Council states that commercial operations have requested set-up help in Greece, Iran and other countries in the Middle East.

Cultivation

To grow strong aloe plants, farms need good irrigation systems, fertilization and the proper climate. Since aloe is resistant to insects and disease, theres no need for pesticides.

Did you know? There are no aloe vera seeds, only pups. To grow a new aloe plant, simply cut offshoots of a mature plant and replant.

Harvesting

While cutting and gathering aloe leaves may seem like a simple task, theres a science behind it. If cut improperly, aloe loses its potency quickly and becomes susceptible to contamination. Farm employees harvest the largest leaves which are found at the bottom of the plant. Some aloe plants yield three leaves at a time, while others can produce six to nine leaves at harvest time.

How aloe is cut:

Upon harvesting, the leaves are gathered and delivered to a highly-regulated and sanitized processing facility.

Ii Association Of Constipation Status With Risk Of Chronic Kidney Disease And End

Some of the home remedies for kidney disease include ...

In a nationwide cohort of 3,504,732 US veterans with an estimated glomerular filtration rate ⥠60 mL/min per 1.73m2, Sumida et al examined the association of constipation status and severity , defined using diagnostic codes and laxative use, with incident CKD, incident end-stage renal disease , and change in eGFR in Cox models and multinomial logistic regression models. More severe constipation associated with an incrementally higher risk for incident CKD and ESRD and with progression eGFR decline. In conclusion, constipation status and its severity were associated with a higher risk of incident CKD and incident ESRD, and progressive eGFR decline, independent of known risk factors.

Lu et al assessed the risk of ESRD between CKD patients with and without constipation in a nationwide database. Over the 13-year period, the incidences of ESRD per 1000 person-years were 22.9 for constipation group and 12.2 for non-constipation group, respectively. There was statistically significant difference for cumulative incidence for ESRD between patients with and without constipation . In a population of newly-diagnosed CKD patients, the author observed that subjects with de novo constipation, as compared with non-constipation, have increased risk of developing ESRD. Dietary modification and some other interventions should be tried to avoid constipation. Avoidance or even shortened intervals of constipation might be helpful to lessen the progression of CKD.

Aloe #1 Aloe Vera Gel Health Drink 58 Oz Each Frozen

My husband and I were praying that God would show us another way to fight this disease. The very next day a friend from church mentioned the Stockton Aloe #1 health drink. She suggested why the aloe drink should be able help the scarring on the inside of my kidneys just like it would do for severe burn patients.

I started drinking the Aloe #1 about a month and a half before my next lab results. The results were outstanding! My particles of protein, which had started at 1000, had dropped to 350 with the medication I was taking and stayed at this level from Oct. 2009 to Aug. of 2010. After taking the Aloe, it then dropped to 144. The Nephrologist wanted it to be 150! Also, my creatine levels dropped to 1.08 which is normal. My GFR was at 47 percent use of both my kidneys put together, now it was raised to 59 percent. Needless to say, I feel strongly that the Aloe #1 Aloe Vera Gel health drink has had a tremendous, positive effect on my IgA stage 3 kidney disease. My goal in drinking this amazing product is to lift my condition to at least a stage 2, if not even a stage 1.

I can only hope and pray my story will encourage someone to try this Aloe and get positive results.

Aloe vera may be most well-known for its moisturizing properties. It can be found in plenty of skin and hair products, but it can also be used straight from the plant.

Aloes reputation for healing wounds starts as far back as 1935 when it was documented that the whole-leaf extract promoted complete regeneration of the skin. Research suggests that polysaccharides in the gel have anti-itching and anti-inflammatory that help with wound healing.

The most remarkable experiences have been with topical uses, Morrow recalls. It encourages regeneration of tissue.

However, more research is needed another study demonstrated that aloe may delay surgical wound healing.

Anecdotal evidence suggests aloe can be used topically for the following purposes:

    Hair conditioning

Home Remedies For Chronic Kidney Disease : Getatoz

Chronic kidney disease is a slow and progressive loss of kidney function over a period of several years, which will lead to permanent kidney failure eventually. It is also known as chronic renal failure, chronic renal disease, or chronic kidney failure.

Chronic kidney disease can progress to end-stage kidney failure, which is fatal without artificial filtering called dialysis or a kidney transplant. However, it is important for you to talk to your doctor before using dandelion to treat kidney failure, kidney stone, and other health conditions. Turmeric for Chronic kidney disease:Turmeric is one of the potent home remedies for kidney failure.

    Kidney Disease And Aloe Vera

Additional concerns arise when adding chronic kidney disease to the equation. The consumption of aloe vera products is contraindicated in patients with renal disorders. This is because it is associated with electrolyte imbalance and medication interactions. Additionally, aloe vera products lack standardization and consistency meaning you do not know how much of the active ingredient is in the products you purchase.

Studies have shown aloe vera can have the following effects:

    • laxative
    • blood sugar lowering
    • binding with medications to reduce their absorption

These effects were shown in individuals who did not have CKD. Electrolyte imbalance already exists with CKD, and most individuals with CKD are on a variety of medications. The risks are magnified for those with CKD. The science lacks support for beneficial claims. In fact, aloe latex is no longer recognized as an over the counter drug by the U.S. Food and Drug Administration because there is insufficient data to establish it as a safe laxative.

In summary, uncertainty in both the product and the potential for harmful or undesirable side effects make aloe vera an undesirable oral supplement for those with CKD. It is important to consult your medical team before consuming alternative medicine products. Products are not typically studied on individuals with CKD and their use can be associated with serious risks.
